Standard Inlay (INL)
Bi-metallic composition consisting of one part high alloy tool steel and one part standard grade steel. A special fusion process bonds these two grades of steel together to produce a high quality knife at an economical price.
High Carbon, High Chrome (HC,HC)
Solid D2 tool steel. A precise, through hardended knife that possesses extremely high wear resistant properties. Used solely in bed knives for three-knife trimmers.
High Speed Steel (HSS)
Bi-metallic composition consisting of one part 18% tungsten, high speed steel, and one part standard grade steel. A special fusion process bonds these two grades of steel together to produce an extremely wear resistant knife. Expect three to five times longer knife life than conventional blades.
